|---|---|---|
| 物 + is cheap / expensive | 物が安い・高い | This bag is expensive.(このバッグは高い) |

convenient / possible / necessary(人を主語にしない形容詞)

many / much / a lot of

「ほとんどの〜」は most + 名詞、特定のグループなら most of the + 名詞、almost を使うなら almost all (of) the + 名詞にします。

hard / hardly、late / lately、near / nearly

ago / before
過去のある時点を基準に「それより〜前」と言うときは before(過去完了と一緒に使うことが多い)です。
|---|---|---|
| ago | 現在 | I met him three years ago.(3年前に彼に会った) |

by / until
|---|---|---|
| by | 〜までに(期限) | Please finish it by Friday.(金曜日までに終わらせてください) |

| after | (ある時点から)〜後に | He came back after ten minutes.(彼は10分後に戻ってきた) |
| within | 〜以内に | Please reply within three days.(3日以内に返信してください) |

during / while / for
|---|---|---|
| during | 名詞(特定の期間) | I slept during the movie.(映画の間に寝てしまった) |
| while | 主語+動詞 | I slept while I was watching the movie.(映画を見ている間に寝てしまった) |
